AUTHORS' GUIDELINES

Each paper will be double blind peer-reviewed by experts in the field for originality, contribution and soundness. Authors of accepted paper must guarantee that at least one of the authors will attend the conference and present their paper.

Paper Format - Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length papers, with up to six pages for technical content including figures and possible references. Any paper with more than 6 pages will not be considered. The authors are responsible to ensure that the submitted papers are in the correct styles, fonts, etc. The submitted papers must be in the PDF format.

Template - The Style Manual and Conference Paper templates in various formats are available through http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

Paper Submission Procedure - Submit your papers in pdf format through EDAS system (http://edas.info/N24503).

Non-presented Paper Policy IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference, including IEEE Xplore Digital Library, if the paper is not presented by the author at the conference.

Guidelines for Presentation

Each paper has 15 minutes long for Oral presentation, that includes questions and answer. We advise that the presentation should not be more than 10 minutes long and 5 minutes QA sessions.

There will be a notebook provided in the presentation rooms. For such a case, please upload your presentation material on the laptop in the session room or contact the helpdesk support near the registration desk. Please be noted that such arrangements should be made well in advance of the session. Common presentation formats are Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT) and Portable Document Format (PDF). Presenters are also allowed to use their personal notebook.

Guidelines for Final Paper Submissions

The followings steps have to be completed for your paper to be included in the proceedings of IC3INA 2018 and submitted to IEEE Xplore

  • One of the authors MUST register for the conference with payment and completing the registration process.
  • The manuscript MUST be prepared according to IEEE template. The available formats are doc/docx/pdf (download http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html). Do not add any header or footer in your submission.
  • The manuscript MUST be generated and verified for IEEE Xplore compliance using the PDF eXpress site. http://www.pdf-express.org/. The conference ID for PDF eXpress is 44477X. The converted and verified PDF file is uploaded into EDAS
  • Submit your paper in IEEE Xplore compliance PDF format to IC3INA 2018 through EDAS.
  • Authors MUST fill IEEE eCF (electronic Copyright Transfer Form) through EDAS form.
  • Get and Upload your eCopyright form to EDAS. (Authors must upload eCopyright to EDAS before a camera-ready paper. Otherwise, the EDAS system will not allowed you to upload your camera-ready paper).

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register and complete the payment before October 1, 2018 (author registration deadline) for the papers to appear in the proceedings and be scheduled for presentation. The details on payments and registration are sent to the authors of accepted papers and participants registered in the website. Please make sure to register a valid email address.

FINAL MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

Papers must be written on A4-format page according to the IEEE template manuscripts of minimum four (4) pages and up to six (6) pages in length. Submissions exceeding 6 pages will not be accepted. Papers should NOT have page numbers, headers, and footers.

GUIDELINES FOR USING PDF eXpress

IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function).

1. Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site (http://www.pdf-express.org/)

a. Click New Users Click Here a. Enter 44477X for the Conference ID, your email address, and enter the password you used for your old account. a. Enter 44477X for the Conference ID, email address and password.
b. Enter 44477X for the Conference ID, your email address, and choose a new password. Continue to enter information as prompted. b. When you click login, you will receive an error saying you need to set up an account. Simply click continue. By entering your previously used email address and password combination, you will enable your old account for access to this new conference.
c. Check that the contact information is still valid, and click Submit. c. You will receive online and email confirmation of successful account setup.

2. For each conference paper, click Create New Title.

3. Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required).

4. Click Submit PDF for Checking or Submit Source Files for Conversion.

5. Indicate platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse and navigate to file, and click Upload File. You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload.

6. You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress plus-converted PDFattached. If you submitted a PDF for Checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed or click your title paper and it will download pdf automatically. Send your pdf paper to EDAS.
